Well folks, I'd be remiss if I didn't post this! My visit this morning to South Trail Auto restored my faith in humanity in not one but two ways: As I was loading my SUV this morning for our spring return home to Canada, I decided to check the pressure in my tires. Low and behold, I spotted a nail in my tire. I decided to make haste to South Trail before it went flat. Upon arrival, I noticed all bays were full ,so I expected lengthy hours in the waiting room. As I made my way into the office to see the owner, John, he assured me that as soon as one of the lifts became available , he would squeeze me in. O happy day. As my turn quickly arrived, my Chrysler Aspen became airborne. Technician Mike and owner ,John, both inspected my tires , to find not 1 but 2 screws embedded in two different tires, ......but by some Divine Intervention, they were imbedded sideways, not puncturing the tires. John verified that the screws caused no leaks with soapy water, while Mike conscientiously checked all my tires to ensure I had no other hidden screws. Now folks, if that ain't integrity,...nothing is! Mike finished his examination and assured me I'm "good to go". I reached into my wallet and gave him $5 to get him a beer at lunch as a way of thanking him. On my way back to John's office to pay for the time spent inspecting my tires( which was a small minimal charge), Mike came tearing back into the office, handing me a $50 bill. He explained that my $5 was in some way glued to a $50, and he came to return it, knowing I intended to give him $5. now, if that's not honesty,...nothing is. I left the shop with a warm and fuzzy feeling that not only is John an honest owner of an honest business, but that his employee Mike is too a honest person. Three cheers and a shout - out, to South Trail Auto and Tire Repair.

The people and the service.

The quality of the work is exceptional, John and his team know cars! The service and the personal connection gives you a sense of trust you don't get too often today. I have been going to South Trail Tire and Auto for years and have referred many friends and co workers...all have been thankful and expressed the same sentiments regarding quality and trust. Dealers have more TVs, snacks, coffee choices, shiny showrooms, etc. However they always have more surprises, and your car is always in need of something. After fact checking certain statements and comparing my notes with their comments, I give up a lifetime of free oil changes just to stay out of their reach!

I can not say enough positive, wonderful comments about South Trail Tire & Auto. I discovered South Trail Auto last year when I wanted a second opinion about my brakes --- a job that was quoted by another business to run about $1500-- $1700. South Trail set me up with an appointment and did an honest assessment of my car. Turned out that I did not NEED what the other garage had told me. John, the owner of South Trail, is one of the nicest, personable gentlemen one could meet. He runs a business that will not fabricate what you need on your auto repair. Too many garages/businesses are simply out to rook customers to make a profit (especially women) ..... and I understand that no one should work for "nothing." However, to find a garage that will give you an honest evaluation is REFRESHING! My most recent visit to South Trail involved my front tire, which developed a bubble from a slab of wood striking it on I-75. I happened to be in Fort Myers, so I called John of South Trail right away. His mechanic told me not to drive on the highway ..... that this was a safety issue and for me to try to bring my car to South Trail Auto. Though busy, they would fit me in. Of course it took time, but I was totally THANKFUL that South Tire could get me a matching tire and get the job done. BTW.... John made several phone calls to find a matching Michelin tire and he had to travel quite some distance to get the tire. What more can I say? South Trail Tire and Auto is THE BEST!!!! A life time customer.

Hey, John! My husband, Eric, and I came to your shop for tires back in October. We had the Tesla Model 3 with two very worn down tires! I wanted to thank you and your crew for exceptional service. I was pleased that John took the time on a Saturday morning to give me an initial read on my "engine light" indicator -- the garage was not open! He did so and determined that this indication was not a "life-or-death situation and I could drive until such time that I could make an appointment.

John "Z" is fantastic. I was referred to him after having all kinds of bad luck with mechanics. John took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong and why he needed to fix it. He even took pictures of the problem areas so I could safely view the problems. He was honest and upfront about everything with me.
